Family Service of Roanoke Valley ⇨ Family Service of Roanoke Valley was founded in 1901 as the Charity Organization Society. Though experiencing several name changes over the years, it has maintained its vision of a resilient and healthy community where individuals are filled with hope. It supports individuals and families as they journey toward lives of emotional wellness, healthy relationships and a future filled hope.

House of Bread ⇨ House of Bread is a program to help disadvantaged women make a fresh start. In this program, women learn job skills and personal skills through hands-on training, combined with emotional and spiritual support, while baking and selling bread alongside volunteers from the Roanoke Community. In addition to learning basic kitchen and baking skills, women develop customer service experience and partner one-on-one with mentors who work with them to set and meet goals.

RAM House ⇨ RAM is an interfaith nonprofit that advocates for those facing, or are threatened by, homelessness and hunger. Founded in 1971, their doors are open for those needing care coordination, day shelter services, meals and emergency financial assistance. They have a vision to provide hope by preventing and alleviating homelessness and hunger in the Blue Ridge Region.

Tudor House ⇨ Through Tudor House, the Tudor family shares the story of Louis Tudor, founder of Tudor's Biscuit World, that operated from 1985-2012. Louis struggled with declining mental health and lost his battle with mental illness, and subsequently, took his own life. The Tudor family shares Louis' story to shed light on the seriousness of mental illness, and they hope to save lives through suicide prevention and mental health outreach.
